
English- In December, 2008, we looked at the former Smith's Food Market building as a possible building for the Luz, Alegria y Esperanza Center/BIC church. The Lord facilitated our raising $50,000 in cash and pledges in less than 2 weeks! We were able to sign a contract to purchase the building for $350,000.
Español- El edificio tiene 6200pies2 (576m2) en la planta baja y 2 apartamentos de 1500p2 (140m2) en el segundo piso. Nuestro financiamiento se esta procesando a traves de la Fundacion HEC. Nuestro plan depende de las rentas de los apartamentos ($1,500 mensual) que producirá un ingreso casi $200 menos que el pago mensual de la hipoteca.
English- The building has 6200 ft2 on the main floor with 2 1500 ft2 apartments on a second story at the back. Our financing is being processed through the BIC foundation. Our plan depends on rent from the apartments ($1,500) producing an income approximately $200 less than our monthly mortgage.
